✺ The Before: For 10 years I worked with families experiencing homelessness. I managed all the children's programs across multiple facilities and I loved it. Not because it was easy or "fun", but because I was helping kids and parents. It's what I went to school to do, it's what I grew up thinking I would do my whole life. And I probably would still be there, had I not become a mother.
✺ The Beginning: When I became a mom everything shifted... in both the ways you plan for and in the ways you can't possibly. I left my career and created a subscription box to teach kids about kindness, community, empathy, love and how no matter where you are or who you are, you have the capacity to make an impact in your community. I LOVED this business and still do, but once we moved to Spain I realized it wasn't practical to continue.
✺ And Now: In 2015 I designed my first website and in 2020 I started designing websites for clients, after closing my first e-commerce business. In 2021 taught myself to code and began taking courses to learn more and improve my skills. In 2024 I started learning about SEO and the impact of AI and gained a professional-level SEO Accreditation.
